Riverside Nautical (inc. ii MARINE) provides specialist marine services for vessel operators at Brisbane, Gold Coast and along the Southeast Queensland coast of Australia and also in Hong Kong and South East Asia. We have facilities in both Brisbane and Hong Kong.
- Compass adjustment - Magnetic compass installation, inspection and adjusting service by AMSA licensed compass adjuster for ships and boats of all types and sizes. We adjust marine compasses on vessels on the Queensland coast and in Hong Kong, SE Asia and throughout the Asia Pacific region.
- Marine surveying - Specialising in corrosion prevention, detection and remedial solutions in steel and wooden vessels using forensic investigation and mainly non-invasive, non-destructive technology.
- Marine consulting - Impartial recommendations and opinions, drawn from qualifications, accreditations and continuous professional developement, coupled with many years hands-on experience and "front line" problem solving, much of it learnt in some of the world's harshest marine environments.
- Shipwright services - Refit / conversion work during the past 20 years includes planning, management and execution on some major projects, including THV "Siren" (pictured below), the 1907 Cornish built auxiliary gig "Endeavour" and numerous steel, timber and fibreglass vessels.
