Australian Maritime Safety Authority licensed magnetic compass inspection and adjustment calibration service for sea going vessels of all types and sizes at Gold Coast and Brisbane. The service enables vessels to meet the magnetic compass requirements of:
- USL Code and NSCV
- All Australian States and Territories
- Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ)
- Commonwealth of Australia (AMSA)
- International Maritime Organization - Safety of Life At Sea Convention (SOLAS)
- Classification societies, P.I. clubs, insurance companies, yachting federations, etc
Flexible Mobile Service
We provide a genuine local service and can usually operate 7 days per week and, if required, at short notice for urgent jobs. For operators of smaller vessels, we also offer generous discounts for multiple compass swings, i.e. different vessels, same location, same day.
We service the following areas:
- Southport, Runaway Bay, Paradise Point, Coomera River, Jacobs Well, Horizon Shores and all Broadwater and Gold Coast locations from Tweed Heads north.
- Brisbane River from the upper tidal reaches to the Port of Brisbane, Manly, Sandgate, Scarborough and all of Moreton Bay including Dunwich, Redland Bay, Cleveland, Raby Bay and Birkdale.
- We also provide a compass adjusting service for SOLAS Convention merchant vessels in the ports of Brisbane, Bundaberg, Gladstone and other Australian and SE Asian ports.
